Five useful habits
Navigate independently
Open the app or type the official address. Do not sign in through supposed alert links.
Protect your credentials
Use unique passwords and additional verification. Never share PINs, card security codes, one-time codes or passwords.
Check before confirming
Read recipient, amount and currency. Urgency and threats are reasons to stop.
Check inside your account
An email, PDF or screenshot does not prove funds are available.
Control your device
Update the system, enable a screen lock and avoid remote-access apps requested by strangers.
If you suspect fraud
- Freeze the payment method in the official app if possible.
- Contact the bank or platform through the channel in your contract or app.
- Keep messages, dates and case numbers; do not alter evidence.
- Review charges, change compromised credentials and seek guidance from the relevant authority.
